Position Overview
QCUC is currently seeking an energetic individual with 2-3 years of urgent care experience to join our team as a PRN Radiology Technologist. This position would be responsible for managing patient flow; assisting Nurse and Tech with patient treatments and clinic duties; aide in patient care by operating X-Ray equipment, take vital signs and obtain patient history, maintain BLS certification and adhere to Questcare customer service standards.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients and office operations
  • Triage patients and obtain vitals
  • Ability to operate x-ray machines and other medical equipment
  • Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, and prepare sterilization tools and equipment as required
  • Practice common safety hazards and precautions
  • Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies
  • Establish effective rapport with other employees, customers, clients, patients, families, and physicians
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Enhances health care practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments


Skills & Qualifications

  • America Heart Association: Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
  • Current American Registry of Radiological Technologist License (ARRT)
  • X-Ray experience in an urgent care setting (2-3 years)
